When it comes to maps mods, there are plenty to choose from and pretty much all kinds of maps are covered â€“ from driving on dirt and off road to racing on speedy highways. It comes with a set of several types of cars and maps. The game itself is not very big, taking around three hundred megabytes of space on your computer. Driving on a race track, performing crash tests and adrenaline stunts are just a few of the many things you can do in the game. Maybe someday if animated 3d models can be used or theres more support for animated textures it would be easierĪlso the cartoonish looking rain in the background was added by the world editor and the static rain on the car paint is just a normal map texture. I figured I would post it since I did get a cool looking result.Īgain for now this is just a demonstration for show, there aren't any physics that would let it work with windscreen wipers, at most it could be made to react to different speeds by having the droplets flowing up/to the side while driving but other than that it isn't really possible to do much more unfortunately. Maybe someday in the future it would be more possible. Basically I tried making animated water droplets on car glass, its really just a demonstration for show at this point.
